Hi, I’m Karen, a Vancouver-based graphic designer with a focus on Interface and User Experience design.

With an Associate Certificate in User Experience and User Interface Design from BCIT and a Bachelor of Graphic Design from Kwantlen Polytechnic University at hand, my education has a marketing focus that allows me to develop a range of skills including conceptual thinking, strategic design ideas, and technical skills for effective visual communication.

Currently, I am a freelance designer who works on various projects - both personal and professional. I analyze problems from the big picture view and divide them down to the smallest details. Even though I work alone most of the time, I also love working in collaborative environments where thoughts and ideas are freely shared. 

If I’m not doodling illustrations or participating in online art battle events, you’ll see me at the local recreation centre either swimming or staying active around nature parks in my community.
